TRUE Battery Load Test

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Peak West EV strongly recommends performing a TRUE load test on all battery systems whenever a solar charging system is installed. Since the batteries are the "fuel" that drive your motor and other loads, it is important to know just how much life is left in them (and when they might need to be replaced.)

WHAT DOES IT DO?
Our test accurately and reliably measures remaining battery capacity to within a couple of percent. It also calculates the available drive time based on the actual measured current draw of the vehicle/load.

We do a complete service on your batteries - including cleaning, watering and corrosion protection. You get a comprehensive report with a complete explanation of meaningful findings and necessary care.

WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT PEAK WEST EV'S TEST?
A TRUE battery load test takes many hours to complete. A momentary battery tester, no matter how expensive or sophisticated, can not yield results that are nearly as reliable or meaningful. Only by running the batteries through a complete charge/discharge cycle while measuring actual current flow can you know how much your batteries will be able to do for you.

DON'T BE FOOLED.
Flooded lead acid batteries, whether deep cycle (like in your golf cart) or high current (like in your car), have a finite life span. Typical figures are 3 to 5 years. This can be longer with proper care, but it can easily be foreshortened by overuse or insufficient maintenance. Claims about the condition of used batteries are often dubious at best. A TRUE load test is the only way to KNOW what to expect from a set of batteries. Also, DO NOT believe claims that battery life can be restored (to any substantial degree) with a special charger or method.

Typical charge is $45 plus, if needed, a reasonable pickup/delivery fee.
